Speech Title: Critical Analysis and Evaluation of Security Issues of IOT in Industry 4.0 era
Abstract: Industry 4.0 which originated from the strategy of German government to computerize manufacturing line has spread its influence to every aspect of IT technologies which comprise of Internet of Things (IOT), cyber physical systems, cloud computing and cognitive computing. The underlying principle of Industry 4.0 which covered the interoperability between devices, sensors and human, information transparency, technical support and decentralized decisions has brought the technologies to the whole new era. However, to extend to full-fledged functionalities, there are still some challenges and issues that need to be attended first, especially securities issues in IoT. This survey paper scrutinizes on the IOT context to cover security issues and further provide a taxonomic view for all possible solutions to attend the issues in different layers in IoT system. Systematic approaches to evaluate the effectiveness for the proposed solution(s) are needed to further adjust and eliminate the security issues optimally.
